Snip's Diary December 2008 Snip

Hello everyone, I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to write to you all. I have been incredibly busy over the last few months. I've been on a little holiday to visit a new friend of mine who was a bit nervous about travelling down to the yard. I do like whizzing about in the box, I can see more of the countryside without troubling my poor old feet!

I will now take some time to tell you all about my cunning plans for the next year.

There will be loads of shows both at the yard and also up on the Pyrford Show Ground. I am particularly looking forward to some one day eventing and Flora tells me she is already plotting the best routes through the cross country course for the first cross country event which is in April. Check out the new Caldendar page for dates of all the events planned for next year.

The Pony Club is having a re-launch in the New Year and I'm quite interested to see what will be going on there. I will have to go to the meeting on the 11th January to find out! Emily has put some things up on the Pony Club notice board and I am sure some of them will find their way onto the website soon.

I have to say that I enjoyed the dressage the other month. Everyone did very well indeed. Both Fantasy and Horace looked magnificent and performed beautifully. Cherokee was a bit worried about the 'big grey monster' lurking at C but managed to control his nerves and get through the test. There are some pictures of the afternoon in the gallery. I have been told that you can get them printed out quite big if you want to. If you fancy a Shey Copse Pony on your bedroom wall, there are posters available now too. There's a great one of me in the field.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, lovesnip's hoofprint
