Snip's Diary April 2009
Hello everyone, spring is here officially now that the clocks have gone forwards. That means that there will be more light in the evenings so we can start doing more interesting things in the weekday lessons!
It also means longer, hotter days and therefore most of us are shedding our winter woolies like mad. There is fluff all over the fields from enthusiastic scratching and rolling and I think we'd all appreciate some extra grooming over the Easter holidays. So if you're coming up for Own-a-Pony this Easter I'd really love a good massage with a rubber curry comb!
Speaking of Easter, the Easter Gymkhana is happening on the 5th April. There is also Horse and Hound Jumping/Agility happening at some point soon and we're all preparing for the first cross country competition this year which is penciled in for the 19th April. For those of you who would like to show off all your hard work over the winter getting us supple and accurate at the letters, the Pyrford Saddle Club dressage show is happening at the end of April.
See you all soon, love
